As a 15-year veteran in career consulting, Lynne’s expertise enables her to motivate, guide and inspire her clients to break through the barriers that have been limiting their career opportunities. Using an empathetic approach and top-notch coaching skills, she focuses on developing career solutions that are tailored to the individual.

 

Lynne’s ability to balance strategic vision with tactical know-how is highly valued and can be seen in how she maps clients’ key motivators, strengths and attributes into a defined personal action plan - often the first step toward a more fulfilling career path.

Knowledgeable in a broad span of industries, Lynne’s depth of experience results in a clear competitive edge for her clients. In addition to her consulting work with leading career transition firms in Toronto, she has been instrumental in managing several Career Centres. Lynne’s strategic insight on resumes and marketing materials, as well as specialized guidance in self-assessment testing, interview skills training, job search planning and entrepreneurial support are all important factors in her clients’ success.


As the co-author of the first edition of It's Your Move: A Personal and Practical Guide to Career Transition and Job Search for Canadian Managers, Professionals and Executives , published in 2001 by Harper Collins , Lynne's range of knowledge is well recognized. She has been featured in career articles in The Globe and Mail and The Toronto Star , and appeared as a career expert on Canada A.M .

In 2004, Lynne joined the top tier of her profession with the achievement of her Career Management Fellow designation, awarded by The Institute of Career Certification International . In 2008, Lynne became a professional coach and joined the International Coaching Federation. She holds a BA from the University of Toronto and is a member of The ACP (Association of Career Professionals) International. She continues to work as an Associate Consultant for a career services firm in Toronto, as well as lead her own private coaching practice, Advanced Career Coaching Inc .
